Nigel Farage’s indignant defence of Donald Trump got old really quickly
In case you’ve just emerged from a cave or a coma, Donald Trump is currently at the centre of an investigation by the FBI, which led to his Florida home Mar-A-Lago being raided.
The man who led chants of “lock her up” because his rival used a secure private email server…ended his presidency presiding over illegal destruction of communications related to an attempted coup he incited and being raided by the FBI for apparently stealing nuclear secrets.

They found classified documents, some described as Top Secret – which Trump initially accused them of planting.
One extremely important detail that Merrick Garland mentioned yesterday:
Trump’s attorney was PRESENT during the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago
So, any claims about the FBI planting top secret docs there are absolute BS

Trump lawyers signed off that no more classified documents were at Mar-a-Lago in June. Then the FBI found more.

Trump amended his claim, suggesting that the documents found in his home had been declassified. By him. With none of the usual written steps and consultation required.

The former president isn’t short of defenders, however, including the usual suspects – Lauren Boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, everybody at Fox News …and Nigel Farage.
Although he tweeted that while Trump was still in the denial stage of grief, he hasn’t addressed the latest development. Other people have, though.
